Mark Swift

Biography

Mark Swift is a social entrepreneur with 15 years experience working in the health and care sector. His specialist interest is in community-centred health approaches - improving patient outcomes and reducing demand on public services.

Mark is a passionate advocate of the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector and the role it could play transforming health and care services.

He was awarded the prestigious Health Service Journal (HSJ) award in 2015 for work integrating community-centred approaches with GP practices.

In 2016 he was selected as one of the 50 New Radicals 'changing the UK for the better' by Nesta and the Observer newspaper. In the same year, Mark's organisation Wellbeing Enterprises CIC went on to become the UK Social Enterprise (SEUK) award winner in the health and social care category.

In 2017, Mark was selected for the highly coveted Ashoka Fellowship for contributions to healthcare innovation.
